LogMeIn Free Service Discontinued
LogMeIn has long been an excellent free solution to gain remote access to computers.  The company has recently discontinued its free service, offering paid subscriptions in its place.
In a forum posting, the company stated: "We will begin gradually migrating users of LogMeIn and Ignition-branded remote access offerings to a paid-only account-level subscription of LogMeIn Pro".

Windows XP Reaches End Of Life
For the last 12 years Windows XP has been far and away the most prevalent operating system for businesses and individual consumers, but on April 8, 2014 Windows XP will no longer be supported by Microsoft.  Windows XP will still work after this date, but Microsoft will no longer offer updates and patches, leaving XP users more vulnerable to security threats.  If at all possible, users are recommended to upgrade to Windows 7 or higher.  Click here for more details, or contact us to help you plan an upgrade.

Benefits of Office 365
Microsoft Office is one of the world's most popular productivity softwares, and Office 365 has advanced application's benefits even further.  Instead of the up-front investment of purchasing the software license, Office 365 allows users to pay a monthly subscription to access Office programs via desktop (the method to which most users are accustomed) or through web applications that can be accessed anywhere.
Another major benefit to Office 365 is its licensing availability.  Previously, an Office license would only allow a single installation on a single computer.  However, one Office 365 subscription can be used on up to five devices (PC's, Macs, tablets, phones, etc.).
