We'd like to announce that the Central Florida Section won the Communication Award at the Region D Conference! Congratulations to Juniper Warthen, Karla Moore and Deepika Fields for all their hard work throughout the year in communications and the awards application. UCF SWE would like the assistance of the professional section in helping with a panel for students, parents and teachers. Panel time TBA sometime, but everyone is invited to participate in the workshops.

SWEet College Day is an engineering Outreach event that is geared towards high school girls. The event will be taking place on the UCF campus, specifically within the Mathematical Sciences Building

Not only will the girls get to interact with and ask the engineering students questions during the workshops, but there will also be a panel for both the students, parents, and teachers who are all encouraged to come and participate. In this panel, both engineering students and professionals will answer audience questions regarding engineering coursework, disciplines, internships, and careers.

Please sign up to help on the panel. A separate invite will be sent out soon.

SWENext Girls Program

SWENext is a way to become part of the Society of Women Engineers as a student through the age of 18. Become part of SWE and #BeThatEngineer! Joining is free.
Who can be a SWENexter?
Any girl 13 or older may join SWENext. For those younger than 13, a parent will need to be the primary contact. We also encourage parents to join regardless of the age of their daughter.
