Networking Lunches

We will be holding networking lunches in various locations around Central Florida.  This is a great way to meet other people, and feel free to invite friends and co-workers.If you dont have time to stay the entire time, please stop by for as long as you can. Please RSVP on the appropriate page so we can get enough seats together. Additional locations will be added later in the month with a separate email sent out.

Explore SciGirls activities at A Day in the Life of Real Engineers. Get ready to use your Imagination to Inspire, Innovate, Invent and Design! Volunteers are needed to speak and assist with hands-on workshops.

This event is for students in the 4th through 7th grade.

Coaltion for the Homeless- Call for Volunteers

Please join CFL SWE who has partnered with Patmos Chapel to volunteer as food servers for Coalition for the Homeless. Please wear any SWE logo clothing you may own or colors such as yellow, gray, or purple. We will be meeting promptly at 3:30pm at Coalition for the Homeless. Once you arrive please tell them you are with SWE.

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, a private nonprofit organization, is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida. Our mission is to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness.

The position offers experience in all phases of the design and construction processes.  At Finfrock we integrate design, manufacturing and construction to deliver complete project solutions. Our unique system, based on creating value through knowledge is how the customer benefits. 
 
Full-time Structural/Precast Engineer Position
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Required
Must be licensable in the next few years, PE preferred
Experience in the design/engineering of prestressed/precast concrete
Detail oriented skills necessary for design and production of precast concrete
Candidates not already residing in Central Florida must be willing to relocate 
Ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats of English at a professional business level required
