Please read all of the following to make the most of your Festival experience.

Arriving in Bermuda

Taxis

Your hotel is only 5 minutes away from the L.F. Wade International Airport and there are many taxis available there. The cost of the trip will be about $12. You might consider sharing the journey and the cost with other Festival goers on your flight. Join our Facebook Event page to link to others who are coming to the Festival!

PACKING LIST

You will need a passport that is valid for 6 months after your arrival date in order to travel to Bermuda. Please make sure it hasn’t expired.

Yoga Mat: Your yoga practice would not be the same without your mat! A limited number of mats, towels and props will be available for rent, but we recommend bringing your own.

Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. Even though it’s early in the season the sun can be deceivingly strong when surrounded on all sides by clear, blue ocean! Most classes and workshops will be under a tent, but there will be ample time to sun yourself by the pool or walk by the ocean.

Bring warm clothing: fleece/jacket/light layers. Bermuda can also sometimes get chilly this time of the year when the sun goes down – and sometimes it even rains (we hope not, but be prepared just in case).

Energy bars, dried fruit, nuts & snacks. The hotel has a small gift/convenience store but you may prefer to bring your favourite healthy snacks with you as we will be quite a distance from the nearest health food store.

Reusable water bottles. Yoga, chanting and dancing – water is a must. There will be water stations around the hotel to re-fill. Our water in Bermuda is very pure as it comes from our rain water and we have a natural filtering system on our roofs.

Don’t forget your camera! The hotel will also have free Wi-Fi throughout for your mobile device.

Small backpack/tote bag to carry around your passport, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, clothing, snacks, water bottle and camera!

Meals

byfmealplan@gmail.com

Every effort has been made to provide wholesome, vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free meals. The cost of Festival meals (except for breakfast) is NOT INCLUDED in your ticket price. We ask that you e-mail us at byfmealplan@gmail.com as soon as possible to reserve the meals that you would like so we can book them with the hotel chef. Simply state your name and which meal you want e.g., “John Smith - Friday lunch, Saturday dinner, etc”. Payment for meals will be collected at the Festival Registration Desk on Thursday 28th April from 2pm, Friday 29th April from 8am, and Saturday 30th April from 8am.
