Pat Carr AND a Parade
You can do some serious improvement on your writing and then let off steam afterward with Eureka's ArtRageous Parade.
Pat's Short Story Workshop, which opens our summer series on short fiction, is May 3 from 9-4. Find out more here.
The parade is downtown at 6 pm. The ArtRageous Parade is the traditional kick-off of the May Festival of the Arts and includes a stream of floats, art cars walkers, dancers, musicians, jugglers, and the Africa in the Ozarks drum and dance group.
Writers' Night Out Returns Home
Our Writers' Night Out this Thursday will be in our building. Val is going to make a delicious split pea soup.
The Memoir workshop with Rebecca Mahoney will be from 3-5. Those not taking that workshop should plan to arrive at 5 pm, as usual.
If you want to have a piece critiqued, send it to Alison by Thursday noon.
