According to the Chinese zodiac, 2018 is the Year of the Dog but on the North Carolina coast it’s the Year of Blackbeard as it is the 300-year anniversary of his adventures. Join the fun as buccaneers will be swashbuckling at Elizabeth City’s waterfront during Pirate Palooza on April 20-21. You may even feel Blackbeard’s spirit while savoring a craft beer at Elizabeth City’s newest haunt, Ghost Harbor Brewing Company.
Nestled behind Hoppin' Johnz New South Cuisine on a brick pedestrian walkway called Pailin's Alley, is Ghost Harbor Brewing Company, Elizabeth City's local microbrewery.  One of our locals, Will Broussard, let's you know what to expect when you arrive.
