Many consider Labor Day the official end of summer but in Elizabeth City, the remaining weeks in September are still mild and allow for outdoor exploration and fun activities. Two musts to add to the itinerary are a museum exhibition honoring the beloved Rose Buddies and the annual Moth Boat Regatta.
Want to know why Elizabeth City is known as the Harbor of Hospitality? And in honor of this beloved organization’s 35th anniversary, Museum of the Albemarle pays homage to it with a first-rate exhibition.
