22 Aug 2022 - NationalHCAW Summer Meeting

We are starting to make preparations for our next online Zoom meeting, our Summer meeting which will take place on Monday 22nd Aug 2022.
  • Discussions finalising plans for National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2022
  • Networking opportunities
  • Presentations

NB: Our onlines meetings are aimed at Hate Crime Sector professionals working across the UK, people who work and volunteer for anti-hate crime groups and organisations. We want to create opportunities for networking, communication and collaboration across the sector.

The meetings are not aimed at individuals experiencing hate crime or to provide a forum for cases/casework to be discussed - victims of hate crime should be directed to organisations that take on casework - as listed on the Reporting Hate Crime page on our national website.

STOP PRESS - Mark Healey is running out of supplies for his hate crime stall.

"I'm keen to do everything I can to promote the spectrum of organisations that are providing advice and support to victims of hate crime, but I can only do this if those organisations supply me with free leaflets and posters to display on my hate crime stall, and to place in the Hate Crime Reference and Resource folders that I am putting together for the libraries."

If you can supply me with business cards, leaflets and posters - send them to Mark Healey C/O Metro Charity, The Mulberry Centre, 15 Amersham Vale, London SE14 6LE

This year the theme is "We Stand Together Against Racism" to promote awareness of the hate and prejudice experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic by the South and Southeast Asian Communities - we will be working closely with the Campaign Against Racism Group.
