Evaluating Scientific Journal Articles Seminar, April 28


What makes a journal article successful? Join us at Evaluating Scientific Journal Articles and learn the questions you should ask yourself, whether reviewing journal articles or writing your own. 

This interactive seminar will be presented by Lori Lyn Price, MAS, on Thursday, April 28, 1:00-2:30PM in Sackler 114 (145 Harrison Avenue, Boston) and via live webcast. All are welcome to attend. Please register here.
 

Course on Leadership for Drug Development Teams, July 12-13


Want to lead multi-disciplinary teams in effective collaboration? Get training in team dynamics, cross-functionality, facilitation, collaboration, and knowledge creation at Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development's fast-paced, two-day course, Leadership for Drug Development Teams, Tuesday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 13 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 821 Washington Street, Boston. 

Early-bird registration is now open, with discounted rates available until May 13.  
 

Reminder: Poster Competition Entries Due May 6


Have you submitted your abstract for the 2016 Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Poster Competition? Postdoctoral trainees, residents, fellows, and junior faculty members at Tufts CTSI partner institutions are eligible to enter. The winning poster will receive a $250 prize.

Posters will be presented on May 20 during the 18th Annual Tufts CTS Graduate Program Symposium at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Posters previously presented at recent scientific conferences are welcome.

Submit your abstract online by noon on Friday, May 6.

Do you have a question about your study design or statistical analysis? Representatives from Tufts CTSI's Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Center will visit the Medford Tufts campus on Tuesday, May 3, 2:00-4:00PM. Sign up for a 30-minute session by sending an email to info@tuftsctsi.org.

Tufts CTSI also offers a Boston Drop-in Session every Wednesday from 8:00-9:00AM, or you can submit an online request and we will get in touch with you.
