New NIH Policy on Good Clinical Practice Training
Last month, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a policy on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. Effective January 1, 2017, all NIH-funded investigators and staff who are involved in the conduct, oversight, or management of clinical trials should be trained in GCP, consistent with principles of the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) E6 (R2). GCP training should be refreshed at least every three years in order remain current with regulations, standards and guidelines.
We will announce upcoming GCP training opportunities here in Tufts CTSI Happenings.
