MediaFutures Annual Meeting 2021 - Registration is now open!
The registration for the MediaFutures first Annual Meeting is now open. The event will take place in Bergen, on September 29-30.
Please note that there have been made changes to the programme and venue. The event will start at 12:15 on 29 September and will take place in Media City Bergen.

Meet the Team
Nicholas Diakopoulos, Assoc. Prof. in Communication Studies and Computer Science at Northwestern University, is a new member of the MediaFutures team. In his role as Assoc. Prof. II at the University of Bergen, Diakopoulos will contribute with his expertise in how algorithms and AI in media systems create ethical issues related to bias and representation.

MediaFutures Seminar: Natural Language Generation, Automated Journalism and Finding the Middle Road
MediaFutures is pleased to announce that Leo Leppänen, who is a computer science doctoral student at the Discovery Research Group of University of Helsinki, Finland will be giving a seminar on the topic of natural language generation on 24 September 2021, at 11:00.
