List your business for FREE today! Support Local Te Awamutu is a business-to-consumer focused directory website promoting the best of Te Awamutu.

FREE for the first 6 months, then $50 per year for non-Chamber members and FREE for Chamber Members as part of your membership. 

You will meet our Support Local Representative, Shannon who will be visiting our retailers over the coming weeks to help upload your information to the website - leave the hard work to us!

2023 Waipa Networks Business Awards

Our businesses in Te Awamutu are rich in diversity and are known to be innovative, tech savvy, environmentally focused, customer service-driven and community centered. With this in mind, we're encouraging our local businesses to apply for the 2023 Waipa Networks Business Awards

Test yourself against the best in the Waipa, receive feedback from the panel of experienced judges, boost your brand awareness and enjoy a great night out celebrating the best of Waipa Business at the prestigious awards ceremony.

  • Emerging / new business (<2 years trading)
  • Small (1-5 full time equivalent employees)
  • Medium (6-15 full time equivalent employees)
  • Large (16+ full time equivalent employees)
Your entry will be judged in the appropriate Excellence in Business category and in addition, at the time of judging, your entry will be considered for the Category Awards.

Te Awamutu Annual Craft Fair

Saturday 17 December - 9am to 2pm
The craft fair will be held at Selwyn Park, Te Awamutu. There will be over 100 stalls, food, live music and FREE face painting for the kids!

First Steps is a space to find resources, video content, news and articles; as well as connecting you with confidential support from approved professional wellbeing providers, to help you make sense of challenging situations, reduce overwhelm and make meaningful change toward a fulfilling and balanced life.
Interested in being a First Steps wellbeing provider?
Wellbeing providers will need to complete an online application form on the First Steps website. You will be asked a series of questions including what you can offer:

  • Workshops / Programmes

  • Physical Training / Nutrition
