Pink Shirt Day - Friday 19 May
On Friday 19 May, Aotearoa will become a sea of PINK as schools, workplaces and communities join the Pink Shirt Day movement.
Every year, one in five workers in Aotearoa report being bullied in the workplace. Learn how your workplace can join the movement to spread aroha and kindness and end bullying.
Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora! Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!
Here are a few to help you bring Pink Shirt Day to life:
- Order free resources including posters, compliment cards, bunting, cupcake toppers.
- Download the workplace toolkit - full of inspiration and activities to help your workplace celebrate the Pink Shirt Day kaupapa and keep it going all year round.
- Decorate your workplace in a sea of pink, have a pink morning tea or lunch, present all of your clients for the day with a pink treat.
- Review your workplace policies and guidelines on bullying in the workplace.
- You might like to promote the official Pink Shirt Day t-shirt to your workplace. It will be available in selected Cotton On stores and online from late April and 100% of net proceeds go to the Mental Health Foundation.
- As well as taking part in Pink Shirt Day activities, we’d love you to consider adding a fundraising element to support this head to the Pink Shirt Day fundraising page
