Every applicant is asked why they are excited to join Way Club, what they hope to get out of their membership, and how they want to support other members.
Jenna is excited to join Way Club so that she can “be among other teens and have the chance to socialize, have fun, and, most importantly, work on building my faith with God.” Through Way Club, she hopes to let her fun and bubbly personality shine and support her fellow members to become great leaders in their communities.
Tri’Von would also like to “interact and be around like-minded individuals with positive affirmations and energy.” He aspires to be an entrepreneur, and Way Club will be able to offer training, resources, and connections for him to find the right path so that he can set high goals, effectively share new ideas, and change the world.
Even though we’re still weeks away from Summer Growth Academy, Jenna and Tri’Von have already started helping us shape Way Club so that we can best serve the rest of our high-school members. They have shared with us their vision for Way Club and what a “safe space” means to them so that they can have fun, explore their faith and future, and grow in confidence.
