Dear Friends old and new, near and far!

We are living in very trying times. With a great threat to health alongside much confusion and fear. The Dharma provides a boat with a strong rudder to help us navigate our way which is especially relevant now.

Chokyi Ntima Rinpoche’s vast mandala is designed to offer authentic Dharma and support to the global sangha. Here at Gomde UK we aspire to do our part in manifesting Rinpoche’s great mandala of refuge. The “magical island of Lindholme” continues to nourish and support all those who have been living and help here and we are working hard to safely share this atmosphere with you all.

We are happy to announce:

Undertaking Retreat at Gomde Lindholme Hall.

During times when we have more time available to us Rinpoche advises us to seize the opportunity for personal retreat.
Gomde is lush for retreat; it’s as if the practice simply comes to you
SB August 2020.

Supported retreat in the Hall
Within Lindholme Hall itself we are now able to offer rooms with private bathrooms  for those of you who would like to undertake solitary, supported retreat.
All our rooms are comfortable, warm and well proportioned, with a private bathroom for each retreatant. Each room has Rinpoche’s favourite views over the southern part of the estate. We provide three vegetarian meals per day.

Retreat Cabins
We now have two off the grid retreat cabins – located on beautiful parts of the estate within our orchard and woodland. The cabins are newly constructed, fully insulated and self-contained and are ideal for practitioners who wish for complete seclusion.

Please be reassured that strict guidelines are in place to ensure a COVID resilient environment with minimal contact with others.

Becoming Radically Happy – A Users Guide to the Mind.
An online retreat with Erric Solomon, 13 – 15 November

We are delighted to announce that Erric Solomon, will lead an on-line retreat for Gomde UK

In these turbulent times we need to reclaim ourselves. To take hold of what is rightfully ours, our minds! This will help us find stability and happiness from within and supporting a clearer navigation through the current social turmoil.

Erric Solomon, co-authour of ‘Radically Happy’, has an infectious enthusiasm that makes meditation simple, never boring, magical and applicable. This inspiring combination encourages us to train and thereby see real results in our daily lives.
The retreat is very experiential, with exercises, insights and guided meditation. In all it provides us with a very special tool kit that we can apply and practice, to develop familiarity with the untapped rich resources of our mind.

The Radically Happy programme has been carefully developed over several years by Phakchok Rinpoche and Erric Solomon

Registration for this event is by donation.
You can attend the full weekend, (Friday – Sunday), or you can attend the Friday evening talk only.
