Tokpa Tulku Residence

 Khenpo Tokpa Tulku will again visit and teach at Gomde UK – taking up residence from 17 March until 10 April.  His second retreat, Philosophy and Practice (2) has been extended to a week long retreat. The full schedule is as follow: 

Philosophy and Practice (1)
Friday 20 – Sunday 22 March

Philosophy and Practice (2)
Thursday 26th March – Wednesday 1st April 

Philosophy and Practice (3)
Friday 3 - Thursday 9 April

Job Opportunity: Cook at Gomde UK

We are seeking a passionate and skilled chef/cook with particular skills in vegetarian cooking. Our cook will join the Gomde team of cooks and will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner for up to 25 people. You will also support the session cooks during large events. Week-end work is expected as part of this role and weekly hours will be flexible depending on season, demand and availability.

Variable hours between 15 - 25 hours per week depending on season. Core season March - November. Working hours planned in advance. Contract Temporary Contract for 12 months (with possible extension).



Navigating Ecological Tragedy
A collaborative inquiry with Buddhists and Christians.
6th – 8th March 2020

We are continuing to prepare for our first retreat of the year, Navigating Ecological Tragedy, a landmark collaboration between Gomde UK, Green Christian’s Borrowed Time project, Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and Doncaster College University Centre. 

We invite you to join us for a journey beyond both hope and despair, where maps have yet to be drawn!

Tickets are available for the full weekend retreat (which includes the Friday event), and for the Friday evening as stand alone event. We can also offer part attendance options.
