A Collaborative Enquiry with Buddhists and Christians. Exploring how we face a critically uncertain future; to help shift thinking, adjustment and action. A collaboration with Green Christian’s Borrowed Time project, Doncaster Council and Doncaster College University Centre.

12- 16 MarchAndy Weber - Dharma Without Words - The Wheel of Life.
Could drawing and contemplating the Wheel of Life lead to greater understanding of both the philosophy of interdependent origination and meditation absorption?
A second visit to the centre by the internationally renowned Thangka painter Andy Weber an amazing experience which helps brings the teachings closer to the heart.

17 March - 10 April Khenpo Tokpa Tulku in Residence.
Buddhism: Philosophy and Practice- covering 3 seminars.  Develop understanding and experience in this not to be missed visit. 20% discount if you attend all the teachings.

June 17 -21 Medicine and Compassion with Dr David Shlim and Lama Oser.  
What is compassion?  Is it a quality that can be trained and perfected, or only encouraged?  Can one’s compassion become more stable, inclusive, and effortless?  The retreat will delve into the basis of compassion, and how it can be expanded throughout one’s lifetime. Specifically relevant to Doctors, nurses and those in the medical profession.

Gomde UK is particularly happy to announce that Khenpo Karme Gyurmey also known as Tokpa Tulku will again visit and teach at Gomde UK – taking up residence from 17 March until 10 April. 

Khenpo is the highest academic qualification within our monastic tradition. Khenpo Tokpa Tulku speaks excellent English and is a brilliant teacher with a rare gift for teaching westerners; making some of the more complex topics easily accessible. This is a rare opportunity to study and contemplate the Dharma at a deeper level with an experienced and skilled guide; a wonderful opportunity not to be missed. 20% discount for those who wish to attend all three sets of teachings.
