Happy 5th Birthday

This week we celebrated our 5th birthday!!

It is still absolutely insane to me that we're celebrating five years of making hospital gowns for children across the globe. In those five years we've reached over 3,000 families throughout 14 countries and the entire United States. We've sent items to 31 different hospitals through our NICU and Hem/Onc Unit boxes, and we've helped 14 other organizations further their cause with remnant pieces from gowns as well. That may not seem like much to some, but WOW does it feel amazing on my end to know we're impacting so many lives both directly and indirectly.

This month, we hosted the first spa day for ASK families in honor of Abbie Waters. This was done through out Abbie's Nail Salon and Spa program, the photos are on our Facebook page - it was not only a huge success, but also the first real event we've ever put together. We graciously thank everyone who donated, attended, and volunteered to make the event so amazing! We look forward to next year's event already! This was a new program we started at the end of last year inspired by Abbie's nail cart, but also my nomination as a L'Oréal Paris Woman of Worth for 2016. We want to show these girls that they're more than just a diagnosis, or a room number, and to help them express who they are beyond the diagnosis.

A new to Gracie's Gowns fundraiser for 2017, will be completing this one-of-a-kind puzzle specifically and solely designed for this fundraiser!

Each piece is available to be sponsored, there are 1,000 pieces to this puzzle and it will be assembled as pieces are sponsored, and photos posting our progress along the way on our website, but also on our Facebook page as well. Each piece sponsored is 1 entry into the drawing for the completed puzzle.

The winner may choose to keep the double-sided glass and framed completed, puzzle, donate to another family/organization, or donate to be displayed in the Gracie's Gowns office.

As each piece is sponsored, we will write the first name and last initial on the backside of each piece, if you're sponsoring more than one piece, a small message may even be able to be wrote as well - pieces can be sponsored in memory/in honor of someone too, with that information on the backside as well, I am able to write pretty small, and worse case we'll abbreviate as needed.

The completed puzzle will be framed with glass on both sides once completed and then mailed to the winner, or wherever they designate for the puzzle to go.
