Just a little story to get started...

"We love Gracie’s Gowns! My daughter has been in the hospital 7 times in the last year and we love having her personalized gown. All the doctors and nurses also love it. While yes it is cute it is also very easy to put on and take off quickly. We love the no mettle so it is easy for X-rays and other procedures. We have also purchased an adorable back pack they altered to work with our feeding pump. I love the size is big enough for her pump, food and a few diapers and wipes for quick trips to places. I would (and do!) highly recommend to all medical families."

We learned our embroidery machine is dying...

Gracie's Gowns is in need of a new embroidery machine, the current machine we have is nearing its end of life stitch count wise and the repair costs will become more costly than that of a newer, more commercial grade machine. We have been in contact with a local dealer who will honor an amazing price through the end of June with the trade in of our current machine, for a brand new machine that will also provide our organization with more capabilities for personalizing hospital gowns for children worldwide.

The daily use of the embroidery machine to personalize hospital gowns and make various items for the families we serve causes a lot of wear and a stronger commercial motor and computer is needed. This machine also serves as a way for our
organization to run some funding support throughout the year as well by creating items from our remnant fabric that we have sold through our website over the years too. It's a critical part of our organization and for sure an investment that keeps on giving to others!

Please consider making a donation on our Facebook Fundraiser or through our PayPal Giving Fund Link to help cover the costs of our new machine! We will be putting down a $2,000 deposit from our available funds, but are still short even if we were to completely clear out all money in our account...however, we wouldn't be able to complete our gown requests if we did that, so your help is needed for our organization to continue to fulfill its mission!

Reusable Face Masks

We're sure at this point your sick and tired of reading about face masks, however, we did want to take the opportunity to mention we still have some available on our website for those in need. Most are children's sizes, but there are some adult ones remaining as well. These will be the last of what we have available until after our move at the end of July.

2019 Quilt of the Year

I have steadily been working on the previous quilts of the year that have already been raffled off and last month we picked out the block for the 2019 year which has yet to be raffled...and opened the raffle up as well! So here it is - it will be a butterfly quilt called "Wings of Inspiration," with two gowns represented on each butterfly. Tickets are on sale through February 1, 2021 and we will draw the winner on Facebook live that evening!
