Dear Camden Prep Families,

As of Friday morning, as we write this message, we are still awaiting the final outcome of the election and like you, we are anxious to learn the path ahead for our country. However, it seems that this year, we continue to be challenged to live with uncertainty for at least a while longer while votes continue to be counted.

Though there are still so many unknowns, we remain clear in our Uncommon mission: the well-being of our students and families and our core work of ensuring our schools are rooted in love, joy, rigor, and justice. We will support our students in understanding and navigating this current moment. We will continue to care for and support one another. And, no matter the outcome of the election, Uncommon will continue to advocate for our communities and ensure that our students are prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for all that you have done this election season – casting your own vote despite the challenges of the pandemic. Most of all, thank you for your steady presence and unwavering commitment to our students, ensuring that even in these uncertain times, they have a constant.

Wellness Corner: November is Physical Wellness Month at Uncommon!

Physical wellness is when we use exercise, healthy eating, and sleep to grow our minds and bodies for optimal health and functioning. As we become more aware of our physical wellness, we are learning to listen to our bodies. Physical wellness matters because it encourages principles of good health and knowledge, which affect behavior patterns that lead to a healthy lifestyle. It also promotes positive health habits that can help decrease our stress, lower risk of illness, and increase our energy.

Below are resources to get you and your family physically well!
