Apply for scholarships and early-bird fee until 3 February

This year, students may apply for scholarships and take advantage of early-bird reductions until 3 February.

Don't miss the deadline!

Candidates who enrol during the first registration phase for the European summer school on ‘Illicit drugs in Europe: demand, supply and public policies’ will get a reduction of 100 EUR (total fee 700 EUR).

The registration phase will then continue until 2 June. The programme fee includes tuition, canteen vouchers and a welcome reception. Scholarships are available for eligible students.

Special focus of this edition will be on preventing and reducing drug-related mortality.

Resources

Register now! Early-bird fees available until 3 February.

Interactive programme

The programme includes direct experiences of local drugs services. Three study visits are planned: to a methadone mobile unit, to a harm reduction centre and to the Commission for Dissuasion. The latter is a unique intervention, part of the implementation of the Portuguese decriminalisation policy.

Social activities

A welcome reception will provide students with the perfect opportunity not only to get to know each other but also to meet many of the EDSS lecturers. Additional social events are organised outside the programme if enough students are interested.

Scholarships

Scholarships will be awarded to several eligible students (50 % fee reduction) on the basis of merit, travel costs and GDP of the candidate's country of residence. Six ECTS credits will be given for the courses and students can transfer credits to other European universities using the ECTS system.
