This month's CMF Artist interview is with Cordelia Williams who is about to launch her exciting project 
Between Heaven and the Clouds: Messiaen 2015
Describe yourself in 3 words:
According to the friend who knows me best: vivacious, thoughtful, intense. I'd say emotional, curious, determined (I know that's six)

Who do you usually perform with?
Usually by myself! Otherwise with whichever orchestra invites me, or with various friends in chamber music (I particularly love lieder, viola and piano duos and string quintets).

What has been a performance highlight in your career so far?
For grandeur: recitals at Royal Festival Hall and Beijing Concert Hall. For fun, concerts where I get to travel to beautiful places like Norway and the South of France. For personal satisfaction, hearing my first CD played on the radio.

What is coming up in the diary that you are most looking forward to?
There are two exciting things coming up this month actually: Beethoven Emperor Concerto with the RPO at the Barbican and Symphony Hall Birmingham just before New Year, and recording my second CD, which will be ... read more here

Cordelia Williams launches her Messiaen 2015 project tonight at 49 Queen's Gate, London and makes her debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on the 29th at the Barbican in London and 30th at Symphony Hall in Birmingham 

- Yelian He (Y-Squared) performs at St John's Smith Square on the 9th

Michael Foyle (Foyle-Štšura Duo) is in recital at Holywell Music Room, Oxford on the 9th

- The 13th sees Dinara Klinton perform a recital at Moscow's Philharmonic Hall

-  Laura Snowden (Tir Eolas) and Maksim Štšura ((Foyle- Štšura Duo) both perform at the Wigmore Hall on the 15th

Giacomo Smith and the Kansas Smittys are at the Dead Dolls Club every Friday and host A New Orleans New Year's on the 31st at St James.
