December 2016

November was an exciting month at Diver City and we are looking forward to all of the fun that December has in store for us.
We have brought in some new toys from the DEMA show and started the planning of a few more trips. We will be headed back to Bonaire in 2018 as well as off to Socorro to dive with the sharks. AND it looks like we will be headed to Fiji in 2019. More details and specific dates to come. Let us know if you want to be updated on the planning of any of these trips. There are more things coming and we will keep you posted as they arrive!

The group has just returned from another great trip on the Cat Ppalu. Check out some of the photos on Facebook or on divercityscuba.ca

We would love to see everyone at the Holiday Open House next week on Thursday, December 15th from 5-8 PM. There will be snacks and in-store specials, and of course, some great people to chat with. We can't wait to see you then!

Sincerely,
The Diver City Staff
This year's trip on the Cat PPalu saw the group beat the boat's previous record number of dives for a total of 22! It was hard work, but somebody had to do it.
New Items in store...
Cat Ppalu

Frustrated with water logged and broken wooden pencils? Want to take notes, make sketches, communicate with your dive buddy in the water? The Aqua Pencil is your answer. Designed by SCUBA divers who believe golf pencils need to stay on the greens. The Aqua Pencil will not rust, swell, nor fail to write. It has replaceable lead and a cool shape too. AND it comes in 8 different colours!

Come see the new Nautilus Lifeline

An extra bit of peace of mind for your next dive trip.
The all new Nautilus LifeLine is less than half the size of the original
radio and is incredibly simple to use. Open the latch, turn on, remove the red distress cap and press the red button. That’s it! Your GPS position accurate to 1.5 metres and a man overboard distress message will be broadcast to all AIS equipped ships up to 34 miles away as well as a special DSC message to the marine radio on
your own vessel.
Designed and manufactured right here in Canada!
