Welcome Summer!
The local dive season is in full swing! Our first few training weekends at the lake have added new Open Water Divers, Advanced divers, Rescue Divers, Deep Divers, Emergency Oxygen Providers and Assistant Instructors to the local dive scene. Congratulations to everyone!!
We also have a few new faces around the shop and at the pool these days. Make sure you say hello to Rick and Tiago next time you stop by the shop.
Closed Sundays
Just a reminder that Diver City will be closed on Sundays throughout the Summer while we spend more time at the lake. We will resume our Sunday hours in the late fall and all winter, stay tuned for those dates.

JAWS SCUBA Camp
This camp will run from July 11th-17th and is for ages 10-14. The camp includes all components for their Junior Open Water Diver certification. They will also learn about respecting the environment and take part in some fun activities on land and in the water. There are still spots available, so contact us for bookings or more information on the program!

Divescapes Conference and Exhibition 2016
We realize that Summer has just arrived, and Fall planning seems ages away, but October 21-23, the Alberta Underwater Council presents "Divescapes" at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino in Calgary, Alberta. The show features international speakers, film presentations, SCUBA industry exhibitors and more!
It will be a great time!

PADI Women's Dive Day is July 16
PADI wants to celebrate the increase in numbers of female divers (SCUBA isn't the 'old boys club' it was many years ago) and for the second year, has designated a 'Women's Dive Day'. It seems like a good excuse to go diving to us!
The Sioux lookout dive club will be doing a cleanup dive that day and Diver City will be out at West Hawk running some courses...and we may add a bit more celebration in there.
So whether you are a woman diver, or even just if you know a woman diver (lucky for you, you know us!) then get out and dive!
