Join Us for the 2016 Lunar New Year Gala
Our Biggest Event of the Year

The Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to 2016 as we prepare for the Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, on February 8th. Many Asian cultures celebrate the holiday around this time of year: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, and Vietnamese, just to name a few.

As we welcome another year of peace and prosperity in 2016, the Chinese Chamber invites you to celebrate new beginnings with us at our 10-Year Anniversary Lunar New Year Gala on February 12, 2016 at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center. Guests will network with local and global leaders from major corporations and universities, while enjoying an elegant and entertaining evening which supports the Chamber’s mission. The distinguished keynote speaker will be Reuben Shaffer, Chief Diversity Officer at Kroger Co.

Featuring delicious appetizers & desserts provided through Asian Food Fest, a Chinese-themed buffet dinner, world class traditional Chinese performances (classical music, multiple traditional Chinese instruments, dance performances and Chinese drums) and unique & valuable raffle prizes, this is a high profile event you won’t want to miss. Complimentary onsite parking will be provided to all participants.

In solidarity, we also want to highlight other Lunar New Year celebrations taking place in the Greater Cincinnati community:

2016 Kickoff Symposium:
Managing the “New Normal” -
What Does it Mean for Your China Business

Lunch will be provided. Registration fees: $15 for Members, $25 for Non-Members, and $10 for Students.

The event will take place on February 5, 2016, from 12:00 - 1:30 at Frost Brown Todd (FBT)’s Founders Conference Center on the 33rd floor of the Great American Building, Cincinnati Ohio.

Symposium Details
Three renown panelists and China-US relations specialists will join us for a deep, detailed analysis and presentation on China's state of economy. According to many, China is entering a new stage of economic growth, which President Xi Jinping has aptly dubbed the "new normal."
Many questions remain:
  • Is this “new normal” a sign of maturity, or is it a major cause for concern?
  • How does the slowdown affect manufacturing in China?
  • How does it affect companies procuring from or selling to China?
  • Is your Chinese team prepared?
