Members' Luncheon Meeting

Please join us July 8, 2015 at the Downtown Conference room for our next Members' Luncheon Meeting from 12:00pm-1:00pm. July's presenter will be Patricia Van De Mortel from CIBC. The focus of the presentation will be on Small Business Credit Information. See you there!

Tourism Co-operative Marketing Fund (TCMF)

Funded by Tourism Yukon, the TCMF assists tourism businesses, First Nations Governments, municipalities and organizations market their Yukon tourism product. Funding is available to market and export ready groups. TCMF applications must be submitted before the trade show or sales call occurs. You are encouraged to submit applications for ALL trade shows, sales calls and sales missions for the 2015/16 year today. Funding is limited, and is approved on a first-come first serve basis. Remember to apply to the fund before you attend any shows. Don’t miss your opportunity to take advantage of TCMF and promote your business!

15th Annual Yukon Riverside Arts Festival

The festival takes place on Discovery Days weekend (August 13-16, 2015) in Dawson City. This celebratory year promises to be a busy weekend of community events, exhibitions, workshops and more that will bring together artists and art lovers from all over the territory. This event is run by the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture, a non-profit society dedicated to presenting art education, exhibitions, community outreach, performing arts, festivals, and more to Dawson City community members and visitors.

Northern Exposure: Klondike Institute of Art & Culture Summer Concert Series

It's no secret that Yukon musicians are making their presence felt on the Canadian music map. The Klondike Institute of Art & Culture is celebrating sounds of the North with a summer-long concert series showcasing Yukon musicians, along with a few very special guests. Join us at the Odd Fellows’ Ballroom in Dawson City this summer for the following concerts:    

All concerts: $5 at the door / 7:30pm
All-ages, under 19 must be accompanied by an adult

The Klondike Visitors Association is looking for volunteers to assist at the Yukon Gold Panning Championships. Set up for the event is July 3 with the actual event on July 4. They would love and appreciate any help they can get. Contact Paul or Katie at 993-5575 if you can help out.
