DCCC Update

The chamber has recently hired a new General Manager, Courtney Holmes, to oversee the administrative operations of the Dawson City Chamber of Commerce. Office hours are: 
 

Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri:  9am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Wed: 9am-1pm

Announcements

Opportunities North 2015 - the largest business conference in the North - is quickly approaching. The City of Dawson cordially invites DCCC members to the swearing in ceremony of our Mayor and newly elected council on Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm in the council chambers. The event will include the official swearing-in of new Council members followed by coffee, tea and snacks. The new Council to be sworn in includes:

Mayor: Wayne Potoroka
Council: Kyla MacArthur, Jay Farr, Stephen Johnson & Bill Kendrick

 



The Klondike Visitor's Association would like to inform you that the Yukon Winter Visitor's Guide 2016 is now available to be picked up from the white boxes in the stairwell at the KVA King Street entrance. Please contact KVA if you require more information.          
 



The City of Dawson is looking for your input regarding municipal trails. A survey is available online until October 22nd for those interested in sharing their experience.

It's not too early to think about holiday shopping - and what better way to treat your loved ones than with a handmade gift from one of Dawson's talented craftspeople? The annual KIAC Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, November 28th 12pm-3pm. 

Tables are $35 for members, $40 for non-members.
