Save the date: 5 April 2017 MBP Conference and AGM

Season's greetings from Morecambe Bay Partnership

Merry Christmas and a happy eventful New Year!

Thanks to all our supporters and volunteers, 2016 has been a great success and we've lots planned so 2017 shines a bright spotlight on the Bay, just check our upcoming events. If you care about the Bay, why not get involved and try something new? We've varied volunteering opportunities and enthusiastic friends are very welcome.

Save the date: our Conference and AGM will be on 5 April 2017 in Grange-over-Sands. Full details to follow in the New Year.

Finally, year-end reflections from Susannah: "2016 has been full of events and happy memories: meeting new volunteers at training events, walking to Piel as part of the Archaeology festival, seeing the outer ring of Birkrigg stone circle cleared of braken and the crazy Minecraft building of Barrow Town.

Next year we'll set up an electric bike network, with electric bikes for hire along the Bay Cycle Way; we're building new connections with schools, new training courses and extending our work with access for all. (If you've never tried an electric bike - then you're in for a treat.)

I'm immensely proud of the Partnership's achievements. You can help us.  A donation will help run events, training and protect the Bay's heritage and wildlife. Please donate. It's the perfect gift for lovers of Morecambe Bay. Sincere thanks." Susannah Bleakley Executive Director.
