Pull your boots on and head to Morecambe Bay for an action packed summer of events.

There is nothing like exploring your favourite local places and getting to know things about them that you never knew before.

This summer we have lined up a host of activities and events to help you to explore Morecambe Bay's beautiful coastline, its intriguing cultural heritage and its abundant wildlife. We have events for everyone including family friendly events, beach cleans, historic research training, and a wildlife walk. And look out for our Heritage Open Day events in September too - details will be online soon.

Or if you're feeling in need of some exploration on two wheels, why not try out the fantastic new Bay Cycle Way - NCN 700, which we launched last month? Stretching 81 miles from Walney Island to Glasson Dock, it meanders along the coast taking in the Bay's wonderful heritage sites, villages, towns and views. Find out more here.
