Don't let this opportunity pass, enhance your students' education with an international experience!

Students who participate in a study abroad or student exchange program enrich their educational experience in a variety of ways that could not ordinarily be gained solely from studying at their home institution. An international learning experience goes beyond the classroom to include the surrounding culture, language and lifestyle. Given the current global economic, social and technological trends, an international study experience enhances a student's resumé and is considered an asset by many prospective employers.

Since 2003, CONAHEC has helped almost 2,000 students live the experience of studying abroad; just this Fall, 175 students will benefit from this program. Applications are now open for students wishing to study abroad during the Winter/Spring semester of 2017.
  • If your institution is already a CONAHEC member participating in the student exchange program, help us spread the word among your students so they can take advantage of this opportunity!
  • If your institution is already a CONAHEC member but you are not participating in the exchange program, don´t worry, you still have time to opt-in! Just contact us and we´ll sign your institution in the program.
  • If your institution is not a CONAHEC member, please contact us and we will gladly provide more information about the membership and all of its benefits.

Short-Term Faculty Exchange Program
Application Deadline: September 1, 2016
The purpose of this program is to match faculty members from institutions in Mexico, Canada, and the United States who will collaborate in the partial design and teaching of a course. Each professor will be expected to travel to each of the other two institutions for a week at a time. In that week the professor will teach a class, meet with other faculty members in order to discuss future projects, give an open lecture to the community, etc. Sending institutions are expected to cover the cost of the flights for their own professor and accommodations and meals for visiting professors.
