Green Week 2016

King's annual Green Week will be kicking off on the 8th February, with a week full of sustainable events!

See the full timetable of events here.

Have YOUR opinions on how to run sustainability at King's?

1. Sustainability Challenge
18.00-19.30, K4U.04 (Pyramid Room), Strand Campus

Groups of 1-4 will have the chance to pitch their sustainable ideas/projects to our panel (including the Director of Real Estate Management at King's). This is a brilliant little CV booster (having the chance to get your idea implemented across the university!), with first place winners also gifted  5 Graze boxes each!

(Don't worry if you don't win, runner's up will also win Ohyo water bottles and everyone will be able to grab some FREE WINE at the event!).

2. Low Carbon Student Workshop
13.00-14.00, FWB 2.46, Waterloo Campus
All students are welcome to join an informal workgroup meeting with Tom Yearley, the Energy Manager at King's.The aim is to gauge student views on how can King's go green with respect to its energy procurement and usage, perhaps even by making its own renewable energy?

This is your chance to directly shape energy policy and future projects at King's! Sustainable-themed freebies will be provided to participants.

There are many other events, from a Lush Stall (come try out some new products!), bike maintenance sessions, King's Keep Cup promotions and MORE! We look forward to seeing you all there,
