Fun in the Summer Sun--Without Losing Your Cool

Summer's my favourite season--how could it not be for this Canadian who hates the cold?

But summer has its own challenges--packing for vacations, keeping kids from being bored, accomplishing some big projects.

In this month's parenting toolbox, let's look at how to thrive with your family this summer! Then stay tuned below for all the new parenting posts on the blog!
The Benefits of Boredom

Bored kids are imaginative kids. So you don't have to schedule every moment of your kids' vacation.

A HILARIOUS video!

My daughter does a video reading her 11-year-old diaries.

Is the Purity Culture Reconsidering?

Saving sex until marriage is obviously important. But helping kids decide to wait shouldn't be about rules as much as should be a relationship with God.

Rules often backfire--and bring shame.

See how the pendulum may be swinging.
