LCA Annual General Meeting: Friday 7 October 5.30 for 6pm
You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the LCA to be held at 6.00 p.m. on Friday 7 October at the Garron Centre.
As with all AGMs there are a number of formalities to cover at the meeting but it's also a chance to catch up on what's been happening, what's in the pipeline, and just to have a chat. To that end the Garron Centre will be open from 5.30 p.m. so come early and enjoy a free glass of wine or two with us.
The AGM agenda will include:
• Review of activities since the last AGM
• Accounts, finances and legal issues
• Committee membership changes
• Programme for the next 6 months
LCA Management Help Required
It’s now two years since the Garron Centre was opened. We have well established processes and a modest but regular stream of bookings from users, both local and from further afield.
The centre hosts many activities that benefit the community including the extremely popular dine pop-up restaurant, monthly community cafe, h.Art, French classes, pilates, children's films and church events. In addition the venue has been hired frequently for private functions such as christenings, funerals, parties, quizzes and meetings.
The management team is now looking at ways to build on this stable foundation and to increase still further the benefits we can all get from this fantastic resource.
Do you think you could add some fresh thinking? If so why not join the management team and contribute your ideas? Don’t worry, this is not an onerous job – maybe four management meetings a year – just a great chance to make your voice heard.
Llangarron Church Coffee Morning
After a short break the next coffee morning will take place on Saturday 8 October at The Garron Centre between 10.30 am to 12 noon.
Why not come along and catch up with friends, and enjoy freshly made coffee and the usual selection of delicious home-made cakes which will be available from 10.30am to12 noon. Free range eggs, produce and plants. You can also collect your Saturday paper.
Plants for sale.
We look forward to seeing you.
