Hello everyone, we hope that all our subscribers are well and enjoying the spring flowers and getting your gardens ready for the coming summer displays of flowers, fruit or vegetables etc. As a reminder the Community Cafe is being held on Easter Saturday (16th April) this month, so we hope to see you there if you are free.

Date for your Diaries - The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration on Friday 3rd June 2022
In celebration of the Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee the LCA are planning a community wide Garden Party to be held at Langstone Court on Friday 3rd June from 1.00 pm - 6.00 pm. There will be a hog roast, a bar, coffee, teas, and ice creams for sale along with music for all to enjoy. Please add the date to your calendars and plan to come along with picnics, picnic chairs, rugs and/or tables to enjoy a fun filled day.

Easter Saturday 16th April - LCA Community Café
The LCA Community Cafe will be open from 11.00 am to 1.00pm on Easter Saturday. Please come along and join us for Hot Cross Buns and Easter Nests (for children). As usual, we will be serving teas, freshly brewed coffees, soft drinks, cakes and light lunches, including hot bacon rolls to order, as well as Ann's famous cheese and bacon puffs.
The March Community Cafe raised £260 for the DEC Ukrainian appeal from the cafe and Bric-a Brac sales. Many thanks to all who attended and contributed so generously.
Saturday 23rd April - PCC Progressive Supper
Those attending should all have received letters/emails from Gill at
gilliandrayton@me.com. Thank you to Gill for organising this very popular event.
Saturday 14th May - PCC Coffee Morning
The PCC will be holding the regular monthly coffee morning from 10.30 am to 12.30 serving teas, freshly brewed coffees, soft drinks and home made cakes at the now regular slot of the second Saturday in the month. There will also be a produce and craft sale during the event. Please come along to meet old friends and new.
The March Coffee Morning raised £535 for the DEC Ukrainian appeal from the cafe and Bric-a Brac sale, and the April Coffee Morning raised £214. Many thanks to all who attended and contributed so generously.
Saturday 7th May - Eleanor Kelly Classical Guitar Recital
Eleanor Kelly is a classical guitarist based in Merseyside, UK. In 2021, Eleanor graduated from the prestigious Master en Interpretacion de Guitarra Clasica course at the Universidad de Alicante, Spain, where she studied with the world's foremost performers and teachers.

Eleanor will be playing a programme of Latin American music starting at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £12.50 each and include a glass of wine. There will be refreshments and snacks on sale in the interval. Doors open at 7.00pm.
