Please see the attached letter and email below from Chancellor Carranza.
I hope to have more specific information by the end of the week about what things may look like at Booker T. As we have tried to map out what "Model 54" would look like we have met some unforeseen obstacles which have required us to make some adjustments. Let's also hope that we get some additional answers soon.
I appreciate your support. Stay well.
I hope you had the opportunity to recharge this past weekend and that you continue to be safe and healthy.
Following the joint press release on Friday, July 31 from City Hall and the NYC Department of Education, please share the attached letter informing families about new test and trace protocols for all New York City public schools. The letter also features a reminder that families who wish to participate in 100% remote learning this fall should let us know by this Friday, August 7.
Please share this letter with your school communities as soon as possible. Translations will be available shortly on the InfoHub.
This letter complements the letter from Monday, July 27 with more information about both remote and blended learning options so families are better empowered to make that decision by this Friday, August 7. As a reminder, you will receive information about how the families in your school have responded by Monday, August 10.
Thank you for your continued management of communication to parents and families, alongside all the other critical work you do in service of our students.
