LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,

Thank you for coming to Back-To-School Night on Thursday. I hope you found it informative.

Tomorrow morning, there will be a Safety Assembly for sixth grade parents and students. The assembly will begin at 8am in the auditorium. The assembly will conclude at 8:40am.

As I mentioned on Thursday evening, we have begun a school-wide election simulation. Last week students learned about what it means to live in a democratic country, and each class was assigned a state. The upcoming topic this week will be on the importance of voting.  This will be followed by a school-wide  effort to get every student registered to vote.  Take some time to ask your child about this each week.

I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening at the first PTA Meeting.

Elana Elster
