Berlin is one of the greenest cities in Europe with more than 2500 parks and 20 lakes. About 20% of the city is covered by forests and open public areas. When kayaking on Lake Mueggelsee, swimming at the beaches of Schlachtensee or hiking to the waterfalls at Viktoria Park in the Kreuzberg district, Europe's second largest city with a population of 3.5 million appears to be far away.
Every summer, Berlin's cultural calendar attracts world famous acts to perform at open-air concerts and take the stage at the legendary Waldbuehne arena or at the historic Gendarmenmarkt. And every evening, the city celebrates summer at its countless squares surrounded by outdoor cafes and restaurants with entertainment from amazing street artists and musicians.

We invite you to join the party!

In search of its historic and cultural sites, visitors to the German capital often are surprised to see the city's extensive system of waterways covered by more than five times as many bridges than in Venice. Discovering the highlights of Berlin onboard a comfortable river boat cruising on some the city's many rivers and canals is a truly memorable experience. The views are plentiful. From the impressive government quarters and the Reichstag Parliament building to watching large crowds of Berliners chilling out at busy beach bars on the banks of the Spree river with abundances of creative graffiti art displays. Time to order a cocktail!

Now in its 17th year, hundreds of actors dressed in historic costumes and wearing masks welcome thousands of visitors to a journey back in time to Prussia's royal Baroque era. Throughout the evening, numerous concerts and baroque dancing performances in the brilliantly illuminated Sanssouci Palace and its romantic park promise an unforgettable experience not only for families.
