A Monthly Report of Project Operations and Flathead Lake Levels- January 24th 2019

Se̓liš Ksanka Ql̓ispe̓ Hydroelectric Project Operation for Flathead Lake
Flathead Lake and River operations are normal for this time of year. The current lake elevation is 2886.6’ with a target elevation of approximately 2886.0’ for the end of the month. Current lake inflow is about 4,500 cubic feet per second (cfs) and outflow is 9,200 (cfs). The water supply volume forecast for the year is 85% of normal. Current snowpack water equivalent (SWE) is 87% of normal. Additionally, for the month of January temperatures are near normal for the Flathead River Basin.
