A Monthly Report of Project Operations and Flathead Lake Levels- November 16, 2018,
Se̓liš Ksanka Ql̓ispe̓ Hydroelectric Project Operation for Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake’s current elevation is 2891.1’, and will head towards 2890.0’ by the end of November. Forecasted water supply volumes are below average for the early part of winter. Current inflows are around 4,300 (CFS), close to the physical minimum given upstream constraints. Current outflows are holding steady at 6,100 (CFS). Lake elevations are on a slow and steady decline over the next few weeks to reach 2888.0’ for the end of December. The current monthly temperature observations are near normal. As we are approaching the end of the year, it is business as normal here at EKI.
The following is a table comparing EKI’s current outlook for outflow in cubic feet per second (CFS) and elevation (FT)
Month EKI Outflow Forecast (CFS)        Elevation Forecast (FT)
November   6,100 2890.0’
December 9,500 2888.0’
January 6,806 2886.8’
