I am delighted to share the news that Michael Feinstein has joined the consulting firm as Vice President!
Michael has over 35 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations and entrepreneurial businesses. Prior to joining Capacity Partners, Michael held several nonprofit executive positions. This includes 12 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Bender JCC of Greater Washington where he worked with the board of directors to develop the JCC’s vision and strategic direction and led the organization’s professional staff. Before becoming CEO, he served as the JCC’s Chief Operating Officer for three years. Previously, Michael owned and managed businesses in the manufacturing, service, and technology industries, and served in a variety of volunteer leadership roles in community and nonprofit organizations.
Michael is a unique blend of visionary and practical strategist. He brings a business mindset to mission-driven organizations, which will make our strong team even stronger in meeting the needs of our clients.
Michael’s areas of emphasis include Strategic & Business Planning, Board Development, Nonprofit Management, and Leadership Coaching. His portfolio of work for Capacity Partners’ clients includes Group Care Global (Strategic Planning and Board Development), Montgomery History (Board Development), the JCC Association of North America (Organizational Assessment), and the National Bonsai Foundation (Strategic Planning).
On a personal note, I have known Michael for a decade and have been mightily impressed by his creativity and leadership. I am excited he will be introducing business planning and other services to meet the growing needs of our clients. We are very lucky he is bringing his talents and wealth of experience to Capacity Partners as we mark 20 years of providing full-service consulting!
