You Decide

Thanks to Sam Piha, Temescal Associates, and the How Kids Learn Foundation, afterschool has its own historical documentary! The film highlights the beginnings of afterschool, tracing it back to the late 1880s. Settlement houses, community schools, and even playgrounds were all essential pieces in building the foundation for today’s afterschool programs.
