Share Your Voice for Social and Emotional Learning Day
Friday, March 26th is Social Emotional Learning Day. To celebrate, the Youth Voice Coalition wants to hear from the youth in your programs!
We need strong youth voices to share what SEL skills they possess and how these skills have helped them throughout their life. To learn a little more about social emotional learning/career ready skills, take two minutes to watch a quick video, then have youth record their thoughts!
We will be selecting the most powerful stories and creating a monologue of these to be shared throughout Pennsylvania.
Learn more and record your response here!

Creative Youth Development (CYD) Community Resource Survey
The Lewis Prize for Music created this survey to collect information about the larger field's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing injustices of systemic racism that the pandemic has magnified. We believe in and want to elevate nationally the critical work that CYD music organizations are doing to create a more just society.
All information shared here will be reported back to the field in a summative fashion and activated toward the goal of increasing resources for the CYD field at large.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions about this effort at info@thelewisprize.org.

Pittsburgh Learning Collaborative: TBH
TBH (To Be Honest) is a youth voice centered project designed to use creativity to draw attention to the experiences and opinions of students, revolving around At-Home-Learning, in grades 8-12. Students can do their own visual scavenger hunt, write on paper and photograph it, make a meme, or anything that visually represents their response. Students are also to send in a typed 3-5 sentences narrating their piece. The responses are then posted on our TeenBloc Instagram and your organizations are highlighted and cross promoted to show the collaboration of organizations in Pittsburgh. The responses are due Wednesday, March 31st by 5PM. This is a group effort and the more student voice that is presented and out there, the more space that there is to come up with youth-centered problem solving.
