Studio on Main
Drop in the Studio on Main and paint Valentines pottery, splatter a heart painting or make a mosaic.
All proceeds from Studio on Main go to support the art center scholarships and programs!

Guest Artist
We welcome guest artist Kelly Patton to Duvall!  Stop in at Studio on Main February - April to enjoy her lovely art and story books.  Join us for a free Artist Opening Reception!  Kelly will read aloud her story books, while you enjoy a free DIY art project and paint pottery with your family.

We are gearing up again for our Artists Way workshop at Northwest Art Center. This is a true transformational experience to help you unlock your creative potential and passion as a writer, an artist, a musician, dancer and more.  You don't have to be a traditional artist to find benefit from this workshop.

Palouse Art Retreat

Beginner to advanced artists and photographers are invited to join us for our third year taking an extraordinary art and photography adventure to the spectacular Palouse region of eastern Washington State this Memorial Day weekend May 2019.

Treat yourself to a splendid, long weekend exploring photography, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting at your own pace and ability, from the historical Eureka Farm nestled in the heart of the famous Palouse country. Art instructors will take you on daily adventures as you experience and capture the creative beauty of the Palouse.

Optional daily morning yoga classes, optional field trips and all meals included.

Our vision to bring art to the community is growing!  Look for new creative classes and activities produced by Northwest Art Center at some amazing locations in our valley.  Thank you The Studio in Carnation, Misty Valley Farm, and Cherry Valley Winery for partnering to bring art experiences up and down the Snoqualmie Valley. 

February Paint Nights
Check out other Youth Art Classes here from messy art, paint me a story, to drawing and painting for kids.
We have ongoing classes for 
in various mediums from oil painting, clay, and more.
The Northwest Art Center is the only non-profit arts organization of its kind dedicated to supporting the rural Snoqualmie Valley and offering quality art education for all ages and abilities.

Did you know that NWAC Studio on Main is volunteer run?  Helping at the Studio on Main or in the art school is a great way to help us raise funds for the art school.  Join our Board and have more impact. Be an art teacher assistant and work closely with young artists or evening paint night class instructors.

To get involved please contact us about how you can volunteer or donate to sustain creative programs for our community.

Wednesdays 11:30am-1:30pm and Thursdays 10am-noon

Friday nights Open Studio at Studio on Main 6-9pm

On weekends the art center books up for art birthday parties, gallery events and workshops.

NWAC programs are supported, in part, by grant awards from 4Culture.
