NEWS AT FLOW

We’ve just finished printing a new set of Primitive Carbon Prints for the celebrated documentary photographer Caroline De Bertodano. These beautiful images are of the ballerina Claudi Morosini and were shot on location in London last summer.

Caroline chose FLOW to make the prints with our exclusive Primitive Carbon (PCP) method because, as Caroline said, “they are the equal of platinum prints and can be worked directly from a digital original”.

For more information about Primitive Carbon printing please click here.

PAPER:CUT #1

LOOK AT THE PICTURES - a new movie about Robert Mapplethorpe.
The only thing more outrageous than Robert Mapplethorpe's photographs was his life. This is the portrait of an artist who turned contemporary photography into a fine art, with a vision that created a culture war, still raging to this day.

Here's a trailer or view the movie on demand at https://dogwoof.com/mapplethorpe

PAPERCUT #2

THE FIRST EVER PICTURES OF SNOWFLAKES

In the 1880s, Wilson Bentley pioneered snowflake photography by attaching a camera to a microscope – and opened up a world of intricate beauty.
