Travel Alert: Coronavirus for entry to Japan

Dear Valued Customers,

Coronavirus advisory information

Last updated: February 4, 2020
There has been no widespread outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia in Japan at the time of writing. There is no major cause of concern but please do take precautionary protection measures, such as wearing a mask if you have a cough and washing your hands.
Foreign nationals who have visited Hubei Province within14 days of arrival in Japan, or who have a Chinese passport issued by Hubei Province, will not be able to land in
Japan except under special circumstances for the time being. more

The Government of Japan also decided on February 1, 2020 that for the time being,
those who fall under the two categories below are not permitted to land in Japan
unless there are exceptional circumstances.
(1) Foreign nationals who have travelled to the Hubei Province in the People's
Republic of China in the 14 days prior to their arrival to Japan.
(2) Foreign nationals who hold a Chinese passport issued in the Hubei Province. more
