Code SMTX Revised Draft Available

Code SMTX is applying the policies from the Vision San Marcos Comprehensive Plan about where and how we grow to the city’s land development standards. The Code update creates a more modern code that offers a better “tool-kit” for shaping growth in San Marcos and achieving our Comprehensive Plan objectives. This revised draft represents revisions based on the comments and feedback received since the release of the Public Review Draft on May 27. The revised draft of the code is available HERE.

CodeSMTX Dates

In the months ahead, the community will have the opportunity to review and respond to the revised draft during a series of public meetings. A final draft will then be scheduled to go to policy makers for consideration and adoption in March and April of 2017.
