Possible East & Gulf Coast Shutdowns 
 

The International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) is threatening to shut down the East Coast ports and Gulf Coasts ports sometime in the next 30 days due to disagreements with the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor and South Carolina Port Authority. New updates indicate this may not happen. Read on for more information.



FDA Rejections & Updates
 

The FDA removed thousands of expired food facility registrations from its database and a significant number of rejections have occurred. Ensure your manufacturer has re-registered their facility and find out new requirements from the FDA. 


Potential for New Tariffs on some EU Products
 

The "EU-US Beef Dispute," which dates back to the early 1980s may be coming back to life.  The USTR originally planned to address the issue in the T-TIP negotiations, which have now been placed on the back burner.
