The Advance Filing Rule (AFR) for Japan requires data to be submitted to Japanese Customs 24 hours prior to vessel departure from port of loading. Scarbrough will take care of this for you.

Since early 2014, there has been a severe chassis shortage at the ports. A chassis sharing program has been set up to clean up some of the port congestion, but there is still work to be done.
