Given the continued increase in Covid hospitalizations, and the wide range of attendees we welcome through our doors, OAC will require face masks be worn inside our facility for the added protection of staff, volunteers and vulnerable community members. Join us online if you're feeling sick or have Covid symptoms.
80s trends are seeing a comeback! One of the nostalgic throwbacks to love is Canada's "Participaction" campaign. We all fight inertia, the tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged. Sometimes it's personal and sometimes it comes from the overwhelming helplessness as we face this unravelling world. This message series will explore the driving forces and practices that can keep us spiritual couch potatoes or help shape a dynamic life of faith.
Kids Church is happening this Sabbath Aug 28. During the message kids 10 and under will be invited to the Chapel for games, crafts and Bible stories.
Earliteens and youth are invited to help as activity assistants.
Pre-registration is appreciated to help us prepare.
Starting September 18, once a month, our Sabbath gathering will shift from our typical worship flow to focus on connecting in groups that are studying, praying, creating or serving together, in-person and online.
Facility Update - Cafe
We're excited to be creating a welcoming hub for hospitality in our lobby by opening up the kitchenette with a service window. This will enable us to offer beverages and snacks in a visible and safe manner. A big thank you to our Facility Committee and those who give to our local church budget making renovations like this possible.
