Since April, the San Diego Brewers Guild has been testing a calendar to list the new releases, cask nights, food pairings and other events from local breweries. You're on this mailing list, so you have seen this in action.
The test went well. We have been happy with the calendar and have been excited to offer a new way to connect fans with local craft breweries.
So, we doubled down, got a shiny new domain name, and plonked the calendar front and center. Goodbye sandiegobrewersguild.org. Hello sdbeer.com.
The site houses our calendar, brewery map, and general information about the Guild, and you can browse our list of breweries or search for something specific. It's designed to look great on your phone, tablet or computer. We will promote the events on this calendar through social media and email, like the one you're reading right now.
We intend for this to be the easiest way for you and your friends to follow the entire sdbeer scene, learn about new breweries, and find yourselves some good beer.

Drinking for a cause is our favorite way to drink! Hawaiian food, art show, fundraiser and all proceeds towards the Mauli Ola Foundation. This foundation is one that provides surf experience days for people living with Cystic Fibrosis, hospital visits, and funding for CF research.

We are excited to be releasing our first run of cans!
We are starting with two Murky IPA's. These will be sold only in 4-packs, with a limit of four 4-packs per person, per beer style. This is a very small and limited run, and will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis out of our tap room. So, make sure to get there early to get your hands on some of this murk juice.

‘Tis the season to drink like the Irish. This classic example of the Irish-born, dark but creamy and roasty ale is dark, but not too strong, coming in at 4.7% ABV. Seasonally available only in the tasting room, starting December 15th.

From 8pm to 1am, we will host the ultimate New Year's Eve Part, complete with everything you need to ring in 2017 in style.

Our annual event to kick off Super Sunday. We're pulling out the rarest beers from our cellar and shutting down our restaurant and one-acre garden to create the perfect Stone rare beer experience. On top of sampling beers, this rare beer festival features an additional seven courses expertly paired with the finest Stone beers. The order of paired courses is up to you, as is your choice of beer samples. Menu and beer list to follow.

The launch of sdbeer.com was a team effort. The project was lead by Todd Colburn of Higher Gravity Brand Advocates and blessed by Jill Davidson, President of the San Diego Brewers Guild. The site was designed by Ben Liddi, an interactive designer at Stone Brewing, and built by Motionstrand, a full service digital agency in Escondido. Betterpress, a local collaborative publishing company, supplies the fresh content.
